What a great summer we had this year! Great weather, which doesn’t happen that much here in The Netherlands, but also some great festivals: Zomerterras, Costa del Soul, Onderstroom, Fiesta Macumba Open Air, Big Rivers… But our favorite this summer would have to be MadNes, a small festival on the tiny island of Ameland with an audience that really takes partying to the next level! Check out some pictures below, for more pics hop over to our Facebook band page.
Last week we visited the little island of Terschelling to do a concert at Oerol Festival. As excited as we were about that, we had another thing planned. Knowing that Terschelling is a beautiful place we brought along our friends Derek van Egmond and Ruben Wiegerinck to film the new music video for ‘Que Sera’, the second single from our debut album ‘Canto Para Gritar’. Derek and Ruben were also responsible for our first music video ‘Leon‘, so we were in good hands.
After a loooooong and crazy day and night of performing, partying, soccer matches on the beach, building a camp fire in the woods and meeting a lot of good people along the way who participated in the shoot, we had a video! Well, more on that later.. For now, enjoy the trailer!
So last month we played at one of our favourite festivals: Dunya Festival in Rotterdam. It was about 5 years ago when the first TenTemPiés songs were taking shape that we visited this festival and started to dream about one day playing on the main stage ourselves. It felt great to see that dream come true on May 27th. Below are a few photos that were made during our show. More at our Facebook!
Ruben Maas also made a nice video compilation of the festival with ‘Leon’ as the soundtrack, check it out:
