Official clip for Leon out now!
Dear friends! We present to you the official video clip for ‘Leon’, the first single of our album ‘Canto Para Gritar’!
The video was directed, shot and edited by Derek van Egmond and Ruben Wiegerinck, who did an incredible job. Also, some people who were at the video shoot sent us footage that they made with their cell phones and cameras. Some of it ended up in the video as well. So a BIG thanks to everybody who helped creating it!
For the shoot we went to downtown Amsterdam and did a mini-concert right in front of the National Monument on Dam Square. As you know the monument was built to memorialize the casualties of World War II. By performing there we wanted to make a symbolic statement, that although each year people commemorate the victims of WWII, worldwide conflict and oppression is still far from over. ‘Leon’ is a song about refusing to be oppressed any longer, about a lion (the People) firmly standing his ground and not allowing any man to silence him anymore.
We thank everybody that came to the video shoot for singing, dancing and shouting with us. Needless to say we are very happy with the result. So without further ado, watch the video below and please let us know what you think!
PS. ‘Leon’ can still be downloaded for free over here! To buy the full album, please visit our webshop or come to one of our upcoming shows.
