Dear friends! We know we have kept you waiting for a long time now, but no more. We are very proud to announce the release date of our debut album: June 15th 2011! We’re very excited, even more so because the album presentation is on the same day in the prestigious Paradiso in Amsterdam. Tickets (€10,- total) are available RIGHT HERE.

Those who have been following us on Facebook or Twitter may have already heard the news a couple of days ago. You also might have caught the title of the album: ‘Canto Para Gritar’. For the non-spanish speaking people though, this needs some explanation. The title roughly means ‘I sing to shout’, to make a strong statement basically. It is something that we feel has been the essence of our music from the start. Although our music is very danceable and cheerful there is also a more serious layer to it, as the lyrics originate from a strong urge to speak out against social injustice. Combining these elements in our music is what TenTemPiés is all about. We hope this will come across when you’ll be listening to our album in the not-too-distant future!

So, we hereby invite ALL OF YOU to our album presentation on June 15th in the Paradiso! Doors open at 8PM. To make sure you will have a good time we’ve gathered some of our great musical friends. To start off the party we invited Humanos Magicos. This is an Amsterdam-based but multi-continental band, and they’ll make you dance on the hypnotic grooves of their cachondo desert rock. After that we will present our album with a brand new live show. Expect some songs we never played before along with some other tricks up our sleeves! And to ensure the party continues, our friends DJ Rodrigo and Poto Peludo from Fiesta Macumba will take over the night right after the concert.

So come and party with us, we’ll be there all night!

Un abrazo.
